As a second-generation homeschooler, writing instructor, curriculum developer, and professional writer, I bring over a decade of experience working with students, families, and organizations. As both a homeschool parent and educator, I bring a practical, real-world understanding of how students learn, how writing functions beyond the classroom, and what homeschoolers need. For families, I provide homeschool consulting and individualized tutoring in writing, grammar, literary analysis, and history for middle and high school students. I work with students across traditional, private, and homeschool settings, including those with learning differences, neurodivergence, and students for whom English is a second language, as well as gifted and advanced learners. I specialize in working with resistant writers and students who feel stuck, helping them build momentum through clear, structured steps while developing their own writing process and authentic voice. For businesses, I offer curriculum development, content writing, and consulting for organizations seeking to connect with the homeschool market. I am the lead author for The Insightful Scholar and a writing instructor with Brave Writer, and I have written for national and regional publications, including Homeschool+, The Old Schoolhouse Magazine, and Sacramento Parent Magazine. I bring both subject matter expertise and lived experience to help companies create meaningful, effective resources for homeschool families.
