Senior .NET Developer | ASP.NET Core | C# | Azure | Web API |SaaS | AI

Senior .NET Developer and .NET Core Engineer with 15+ years building ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, C#, REST APIs, microservices, and high-volume backend systems on Microsoft Azure. I specialize in scalable .NET applications, SQL Server, Dapper, Entity Framework, Redis, background workers, and enterprise modernization. A RECENT BUILD I was the core developer of a bordereau management system that was failing with memory exhaustion because entire policy files of 100K+ records were loaded into memory. I built the replacement as event-driven microservices and worker services on Azure Kubernetes Service. Files are streamed from Azure Blob Storage, records are processed in batches through Redis and Azure Queue Storage, and Helm-based CI/CD handles deployment and autoscaling. I also built the Angular front end. It is in production and designed for files from roughly 100K to over 1M records. WHAT I BUILD - RESTful APIs and microservices with ASP.NET Core / .NET 8+ - Event-driven and queue-based processing (Azure Queue Storage, Redis, background workers) - Azure solutions: App Services, Functions, Blob Storage, Key Vault, AKS, Azure DevOps pipelines - Angular front ends with Entity Framework or Dapper on SQL Server - Third-party API integrations - Azure OpenAI / Semantic Kernel features added to a .NET backend when there is a real use for them FIXING EXISTING MODERN APPLICATIONS If your .NET Core / .NET 8 application is slow, unstable or failing in production, I find the actual cause, whether it's the C# code, a query, a stored procedure or the deployment, and make the smallest safe change instead of proposing a rewrite. LEGACY .NET I also work on older ASP.NET Web Forms, MVC and .NET Framework applications on IIS. I can fix them in place or move them to .NET 8+ step by step, without a big-bang rewrite. HOW I WORK I ask questions early when requirements are unclear, flag risks before they become incidents, and keep changes small and testable. I use AI coding tools to move faster, but I review and test everything myself. I'm open to hourly work, fixed-scope projects and long-term engagements. STACK C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API, .NET Framework, Entity Framework, Dapper, SQL Server, Redis, Microservices, Azure (App Services, Functions, Blob, Queue Storage, Key Vault, AKS), Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Angular, Azure OpenAI, Semantic Kernel. TO GET STARTED Send me an invite with a short description of what you need built or what's broken, your .NET version and hosting setup, and I'll tell you how I'd approach it.
