I am a Chartered Accountant and a Manager in the Technical Accounting Advisory practice at KPMG Ireland, with specialised experience in IFRS and complex financial reporting matters. I advise clients across a wide range of industries on the interpretation and application of accounting standards applicable worldwide including IFRS, US GAAP, FRS and more, supporting finance and audit teams through year‑end and interim reporting, complex accounting judgements, audit reviews, and transaction‑related accounting issues. My work regularly involves preparing and reviewing IFRS accounting memos, advising on financial instruments (IAS 32 / IFRS 9), revenue recognition (IFRS 15), share‑based payments (IFRS 2), group reporting and consolidation issues, intercompany accounting, and disclosure drafting under tight regulatory and audit timelines. My core job is to "uncomplicate the complicated". Alongside my role at KPMG, I provide short‑term, project‑based IFRS and technical accounting support on a freelance basis.
