Great products happen when engineering, design, manufacturing, brand, and user experience work as one system. For more than 20 years I've helped create that alignment inside some of the world's most demanding product-development environments, including Toyota, BMW, Geely, and Byton. My background is automotive design, but automotive design is rarely just design. Every project requires an understanding of customer needs, product strategy, brand positioning, user experience, ergonomics, engineering constraints, manufacturing processes, cost targets, and commercial objectives—all working together toward a single outcome. This breadth doesn't come from being a generalist. It comes from spending two decades in an industry where success depends on balancing all of these factors simultaneously. As a result, I help clients at many different stages of development. Sometimes that means defining a product vision, sometimes simplifying a complex system, sometimes creating a compelling user experience, and sometimes developing a production-ready design. The common thread is finding clarity within complexity and transforming ideas into products people genuinely value. I've worked across concept vehicles, production programs, EV startups, robotics, consumer products, mobility systems, and advanced research projects. Whether you're building a new product, exploring an opportunity, refining an experience, or preparing for production, I bring the same first-principles approach that has been developed through some of the world's most demanding design programs. Every project starts with a conversation. Sometimes that leads to a design engagement, sometimes it simply uncovers a better question, a clearer direction, or an opportunity that wasn't obvious at the outset. Either way, I'm always happy to schedule a call explore interesting challenges.
