Jessica is a seasoned accounting expert with 15+ years of experience, including a managerial role at BDO. Specializing in diverse industries, she excels in streamlining day-to-day accounting processes for businesses of all sizes. Certified in QBO and well-versed in various platforms, she manages day-to-day accounting functions and month-end close process for several clients, ranging from small businesses to non-profits to international corporations that require complex and specialized procedures. Her experience in full cycle accounting includes revenue recognition, project/contract accounting, inventory management and non-profit accounting. Prior to her management position at BDO, Jessica has gained knowledge in a wide variety of industries such as SaaS, property management, retail/restaurant, hotel, and financial services. Some of Jessica’s past duties include inventory management for an international retail corporation, cash receipt reconciliations for a national non-profit, federal grant reporting, and monthly financial reporting for a private equity firm. In addition, she manages the monthly, quarterly and annual close process which includes reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, general ledger accounts and preparing financial statements. She handles payroll processing and also interacts with external auditors and tax preparers as needed. Jessica is well-versed in many accounting technology platforms including Quickbooks Online, Microsoft NAV, NetSuite, Intacct, Bill.com, Anybill, Expensify, ADP, Paylocity and more. She has successfully onboarded a number of clients on these technologies to increase efficiency and streamline the accounting functions.
