Profile Summary I am an experienced Legal Assistant, and licensed attorney in my home country. In an addition to my qualification as a lawyer, I have experience supporting attorneys and law firms based in the United States, and Canada, as a paralegal/case manager. I have gained proficiency in the following; - Family based petitions (Canada & US) - Divorce and custody petitions (US Family law) - Client communication - Legal Drafting (motions, NOAs, submissions, demand and request letters, affidavits, appeal memorandums) etc. - Use of Case management systems (Clio, Practice Panther, Filevine, Google Workspace, Zoho-One) - Drafting, and proofreading legal documents and other court documents I am predominantly exposed to Immigration Law, Family Law, and Estate Planning. I also understand the importance of accuracy, discretion, and deadlines in legal practice. My goal is to take the administrative, research and drafting work load off your plate, giving you more time for strategy, and client-facing work.
