Julio García Escames is a Spanish director, screenwriter, cinematographer, and editor based in Los Angeles. He holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the University of Wales, graduating in 2011 with an award for the best academic record. He later earned a Master’s in Film and Media Production from the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles. Julio has contributed to over 150 productions in the U.S. as a director, editor, and cinematographer. His work includes award-winning short films such as Inteligente, Veinticuatro, Osito Goody, Klaazor, and Beyond Cornfield Street. He served as post-production supervisor on the Amazon feature The Magic and worked as editor on the Emmy-winning series The Bay. He has also edited promotions for Estrella Media Group. His accolades include Best Director at the Famous International Film Festival in Los Angeles, Best Editor at the Los Angeles Independent Film Awards, and nominations for Best Editor, Cinematographer, and other awards at prominent festivals.
