Tatev G.
Full-Stack Engineer | React & Next.js Apps, APIs, WordPress
I build and ship full-stack web applications: React and Next.js on the front, Node and API integrations behind them. What I do: I take products from an unclear brief to something running in production. That usually means: Front end - React, Next.js, TypeScript. Component architecture that survives the second and third round of feature requests, not just the demo. Responsive, accessible, fast. APIs and integrations - Node and serverless functions, REST and GraphQL consumption, third-party integrations (payments, CRMs, auth, analytics, AI/LLM APIs). If your front end needs to talk to something, I connect it and handle the failure cases. Performance and correctness - Core Web Vitals, bundle size, render behaviour, the slow page nobody has had time to look at. WordPress and PHP systems - I still build and maintain custom themes, plugins, and WooCommerce work, and I modernise or migrate legacy WordPress sites when a business has outgrown one. How I work: I ask what the thing is actually for before I write code. I estimate in ranges and tell you early when a range moves. I write code the next person can read, because on most of my longer engagements that next person has been me, a year later. I have run multi-year engagements - 700+ hours on one front-end role, five years on another - which is a different skill from finishing a two-day task. If you need someone who can hold context on a codebase over time and be trusted with it, that is the part of my history worth looking at. Stack: JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, REST/GraphQL APIs, HTML5, CSS/Tailwind/SCSS, Git, PHP, WordPress (custom themes, plugins, WooCommerce, Elementor), Figma-to-code, AI/LLM API integration.
