I'm a data scientist with a strong background in the fintech industry. I began my career as a data analyst at a tax software company, where I partnered with sales, accounting, and legal teams to support strategic decision-making. Currently, I lead the Risk and Underwriting data science team at a fintech firm, where I work with a variety of data tools and technologies. In my roles, I've worked extensively with SQL databases including Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Redshift, and I use Python daily for data analysis, machine learning, and streamlit apps. I also utilize N8N for building out AI Automations Outside of work, I co-run the Ryan & Matt Data Science YouTube channel, which has grown to 25,000 subscribers and draws more than 70,000 views per month.
