⭐️ 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁-𝗩𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗱 | 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝟭% 𝗼𝗻 𝗨𝗽𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 Five years of government-focused positioning and technical communications for Spire Global. Ten years of consulting across energy, agriculture, climate tech, and corporate sustainability. I work with science and technology-led organizations on projects that require technical understanding and strategic judgment. The exact role changes with the project. Depending on the project, I might be developing a marketing strategy, writing technical content, assessing a program, or conducting research. Other assignments involve websites, reports, presentations, and funding materials. I can read the technical work, follow the assumptions underneath it, and build strategy that stays grounded in what the science actually supports. 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 My training and my center of gravity. My work in this area includes climate adaptation and resilience. It also covers emissions and carbon accounting. Other areas include environmental monitoring, ecosystem and natural-resource management, and science-to-policy translation. That training gives me judgment about which claims are worth leading with and which ones will not survive a hard question from a funder, regulator, or technical buyer. 𝗢𝗰𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝘆 One part of the practice, run through Boundless Blue, my ocean conservation consultancy. I work with marine technology companies, blue-economy ventures, research groups, conservation programs and NGOs. The work includes project development and research. I also support partnerships, funding strategy, positioning, and commercialization. The recurring questions are practical. Is the idea technically credible? Is the program ready?
