⭐️ 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁-𝗩𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗱 | 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝟭% 𝗼𝗻 𝗨𝗽𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 I help companies assess and communicate their environmental performance, prepare sustainability reports, develop technical documentation, and pursue funding. As an environmental scientist and sustainability consultant, clients bring me in to understand the subject, identify what needs attention, and carry the work through to a finished deliverable. My background spans corporate sustainability, environmental technology, energy, agriculture, conservation, and Earth observation. 𝗘𝗦𝗚 & 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 I support ESG and corporate sustainability reporting, from gathering information across teams through drafting and final review. I examine the supporting evidence and identify gaps so the finished report accurately reflects the organization’s work. My reporting experience includes lab services, manufacturing, and methane-mitigation technology. I’ve developed environmental disclosures incorporating Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions and findings from third-party life cycle assessments (LCAs). I also work on the social and governance sections of sustainability reports. Beyond reporting, I’ve developed corporate sustainability programs and coordinated certification work. This has involved prioritizing operational improvements and preparing policies to support implementation. My technical writing covers CSRD and California SB 253 and SB 261. I’m also familiar with GRI, SASB, and the ISSB’s IFRS S1 and S2 standards, alongside GHG Protocol-based disclosures. My reporting work includes information used in EcoVadis assessments and customer sustainability questionnaires. 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 & 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 I help develop and revise environmental technical reports and supporting documentation for project decisions, funding applications, and planning review. Previous work includes environmental impact reports supporting California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) review. I've also contributed to environmental justice documentation for a U.S. Department of Energy carbon-capture project and prepared environmental compliance questionnaires supporting NOAA grant applications. I work with technical teams to explain methodologies and present findings clearly, giving reviewers the context they need to assess potential impacts. 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆 & 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗪𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 I hold Funding Strategy and Grant Writing certifications through the Global Grant Writers Collective, and I'm the founder of Boundless Blue, a fundraising and development consultancy for environmental conservation initiatives. Through my work, I help nonprofits and for-profits define their projects and assess funding readiness before researching and qualifying opportunities. I use Instrumentl for grant research, funder prospecting, and funding calendars. From there, I develop application narratives and budgets with the project team and coordinate proposal development. I also research federal contract opportunities through SAM.gov and support proposal writing for government bids. When expanded support is needed, I collaborate with Planet Grants, whose project Include: • $9 million through California Energy Commission PowerForward for battery manufacturing • $2 million through Department of Defense Direct-to-Phase-II SBIR for advanced battery technology • $500,000 through AmeriCorps for redwood conservation • National Science Foundation Advanced Technological Education awards The team also manages an approximately $18.5 million EPA Clean Ports subaward, bringing experience with federal compliance and reporting after an award is made. 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆 & 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 I provide technical writing, marketing communications, and positioning for companies serving government and commercial markets across GovTech, deep tech, aerospace, Earth observation, GIS, and geospatial technology. My experience includes five years supporting Spire Global, technical writing for FedTech, and positioning and go-to-market strategy for Geoace. I help explain complex capabilities through website copy, white papers, technical reports, and sales materials for public sector, defense, and commercial audiences. My work also covers satellite technology, remote sensing, technology commercialization, and business-to-government (B2G) marketing. 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 & 𝗙𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 I hold a B.S. in Environmental Restoration Science from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, with a Soil Science major and Water Science minor. I’m an SSI Divemaster with over 1,000 hours logged underwater. I’ve also written for Scuba Diving magazine, developed field-based communications for NGOs, and researched coastal and marine ecosystems. ✅ Have a project in mind?
