J.R. L.

I help small businesses repair, modernize, and connect the systems they already depend on—especially Claris FileMaker solutions, PHP/MySQL applications, and API-driven workflows. With 25+ years in database programming and systems administration, I can step into an inherited system, understand how it works, and improve it without creating unnecessary complexity. I can help you: • Modernize, troubleshoot, and automate FileMaker solutions • Design relational databases, layouts, scripts, reports, and WebDirect workflows • Connect WordPress, WooCommerce, Airtable, and other platforms through REST APIs, webhooks, and OAuth2 • Build or extend secure PHP/MySQL tools and internal web applications • Diagnose Linux hosting, migrations, SSL, DNS, email, and server integration issues • Document the finished system so it remains maintainable I hold current Claris certifications covering FileMaker Pro development, FileMaker Server administration, Claris Connect, and AI/LLM fundamentals. I favor practical, durable solutions over fragile stacks of plugins and workarounds. For an inherited or unclear system, we can start with a small paid diagnostic milestone, define the risks and deliverables, and then proceed with a controlled implementation. If you need someone who can bridge databases, application code, integrations, and infrastructure, send me the current problem and the outcome you need.
