I pay attention to the things that make animation feel good pacing, timing, composition, transitions, movement, visual hierarchy, and the little details that make each scene feel intentional. For product and explainer animation especially, I always keep one question in mind: What does the viewer need to understand at this moment? That keeps the animation from becoming motion for the sake of motion. Every scene should support the story and make the message easier to follow.
