I'm a publishing professional with ten years of experience at agencies and a 'Big 5' house. I've worked primarily on the business side of the industry, but a life-is-stranger-than-fiction moment gave me the opportunity to try cover design. I loved it and decided to turn the temporary work assignment into a permanent career change. Whether you're releasing your book on Wattpad, through Amazon, or with another self-publishing service - I'm excited to offer a tasteful cover design with 'big book' appeal at a reasonable price. I have a particular interest in the following genres: Romance, Mystery / Thriller, and Women's Fiction. I also have a lot of experience in business and health non-fiction. I offer special reduced pricing for authors anticipating releasing multiple books in a series. Typical work flow: An initial proposal is simply a quick mock-up and not meant to be final product. If selected, I will provide you with a short survey to gather details about the book, characters, setting, preferences, etc. I'll then design four to five concepts with an aim of a quick turnaround to keep costs as low as possible. I use images that are cleared for use, so there's no additional image use fees. You'll review the designs and provide feedback. I'll make the changes and finalize with you. I'm open to flat rate projects. Additionally, I also offer synopsis review services. While a cover should show the emotion and tone of the novel, the synopsis hooks the reader on the plot.
