Hello! My name is Tonghann. I am from Cambodia. My professionals are Civil Engineer and GIS Specialist. I have graduated from Battambang Institute of Technology in 2012. I started my work with GIZ(the first organization of my career) in 2012. My duties during my assignment with GIZ were helping the Urban poor settlements to have tenure security. I was working with those people to deal with their current situation and fighting for livelihood security by developing proposals to upgrade their living condition legally. I was also supporting the Governmental authorities to design technical plans using CAD and GIS software. I was also a key person to interact between Governmental authorities and urban poor settlers. Then I moved to my next level's job which was on Municipal/District Land Use Planning. I was working with Governmental authorities to develop Master Plan of the City. I was also working with the technical team to create maps, technical drawings, and mappings. after a while, I promoted to work as GIS specialist supporting the provincial spatial planning process at the provincial level. I was working in the GIS field by collecting data, analysing, processing, and producing maps. So far, I am working with other company which is focusing on Commune Land Use Planning(CLUP). My tasks are collecting primary and secondary data, processing data, and create maps of those collected data.
