Daphne P.

Growing up in a family business of Exotic Reptile Breeding gave me the tools I needed to create my own successful retail business in 2011 and lead me to a life of traveling the world as a humanitarian volunteer. I thrive in unique circumstances, and have much experience in people management and problem solving; all while maintaining the creativity to help keep business fresh and on the move. Creative writing and writing about my own experiences started as a hobby and soon turned into more. The people I've met and the places I've been leave such an impression in my mind, that I just have to tell those stories. Be it travel articles, short stories or editing, I love it all. I have published several small works of my own and hope to continue doing so in the future. Volunteer work has always been a big part of my life and since 2011 I've dedicated at least 70 hours a month to it. I've helped in an educational work for people of all ages in several different countries, spent time in the homes of people who didn't speak the same language as me, and have participated in the renovating of buildings and homes. This has helped give me an understanding and appreciation of those whose culture differs from mine. It has also helped me develop patience and an out of the box way of looking at the world. I am a fluent English speaker born in the United States, with a fluid comprehension of Spanish. I'm a quick learner and a reliable, hard worker with experience in several different fields. Strong morals move me to always be honest, be prompt and give my best.
