Full-Stack & AI Developer | Animation & Video Production

I build web applications, AI integrations, and backend systems. I also create animated music videos and explainers, using code-drawn animation and AI-generated visuals. Software development I've worked in web software for more than 25 years. My current work includes Python and FastAPI backends, React and Next.js frontends, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL and MySQL databases. I build new applications and work on existing ones that need a feature finished or a difficult integration sorted out. I can take a prototype through database design, authentication, payments, background jobs, and deployment. I use AI coding tools extensively and check the resulting code with tests and review. Nutrifax is my nutrition-label application for food producers. I built its FastAPI backend, Expo frontend, and Stripe billing. AI helps import recipes and match ingredients to government food datasets; nutrition calculations and rounding stay in deterministic code. The Bureau is my multi-agent development framework. It coordinates specialists with separate contexts, independent review, human checkpoints, and resumable state. Animation and video My animation work includes Bob Wiseman's music videos, GrowOperative explainers, and narrated shadow-puppet stories. I develop the visual approach, build scenes, and edit the result to the music or narration. The work includes woodcut and painted looks, kinetic typography, generated transitions, and vertical versions recomposed for a phone screen. For Bob Wiseman's Airplane on the Highway, I developed look tests, built the animation in code, and revised the film around his feedback. The case study shows how the visual styles and transitions developed. I also build video production tools. ViralVision is my Python pipeline for footage analysis, Whisper transcription, beat detection, structured LLM edit plans, and FFmpeg rendering, including timed captions and beat-synced vertical clips. I prefer fixed-price projects with a clear scope and milestones. For larger builds, I start with a defined first deliverable before committing to the rest.
