I'm Alex, a Python Backend Developer with 8 years of commercial experience building and maintaining backend systems for real-world products. 𝗠𝘆 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗸: 🐍 Python 🔷 Django / Django REST Framework 🗄️ PostgreSQL / TimescaleDB ⚡ Redis / Celery 🐳 Docker 🔗 REST APIs & third-party integrations 🧪 Pytest 🐧 Linux / Git 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵: 📌 Backend development from scratch 📌 REST API development and integrations 📌 Django / DRF applications 📌 Database design and query optimization 📌 Data processing and large datasets 📌 Celery and background/periodic tasks 📌 Redis and caching 📌 Third-party API integrations 📌 Automated testing 📌 Performance optimization 📌 Existing project maintenance and refactoring 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗺 𝗜 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁? I specialize in backend development, data-intensive applications, complex business logic, database optimization, asynchronous processing, integrations, and performance. I’m comfortable joining an existing project, quickly understanding the codebase and business logic, and taking ownership of backend tasks from requirements to production. I have worked on projects in different domains, including SaaS platforms, data-intensive systems, dashboards, customer portals, integrations, and automation. 𝗔𝗜-𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 I use AI coding assistants as part of my development workflow for implementation, refactoring, debugging, testing, and research. I always review and validate the generated code myself. I’m always open to learning new technologies when the project requires them. My strongest area is Python backend development, but I’m comfortable adapting to new frameworks, tools, and architectures. If you need someone to build, improve, optimize, or maintain a Python backend — feel free to contact me. Let's build something useful. 🚀
