Roman Y.

I’m a Senior Backend Developer with 8+ years of hands-on experience building reliable, scalable backend systems using PHP (Laravel) and Node.js. Most of my work is focused on backend architecture, API development, and performance optimization for real business products — not demos or pet projects. I’ve worked with startups and established companies on SaaS platforms, CRM systems, fintech solutions, and e-commerce backends. What I do best: Backend development with Laravel and Node.js Designing and building REST APIs Working with high-load applications Improving performance, stability, and security Refactoring and maintaining existing codebases Tech stack: PHP 8+, Laravel, Lumen Node.js, Express, NestJS MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB Redis (cache, queues) Docker, CI/CD AWS, DigitalOcean Git, GitHub / GitLab APIs & integrations: REST / JSON APIs Payment systems (Stripe, PayPal) Third-party services and webhooks How I work: I write clean, maintainable code and think about long-term scalability. I care about clear communication, realistic timelines, and delivering results that actually solve business problems. If something can be done better or simpler, I’ll say it. Projects I can help with: Backend from scratch API for web or mobile apps Refactoring legacy Laravel / Node.js code Performance optimization Ongoing backend support If you’re looking for a backend developer who can work independently and take responsibility for the server side of your product — feel free to message me.
