Matthew W.

I help enterprises and MSPs identify, prove, and resolve network performance issues using Cisco ThousandEyes and Meraki—without guesswork or prolonged outages. I’m a Chief Architect with 25+ years of experience, including 18 years as a hands-on network engineer and architect supporting large-scale, production environments. That background means I don’t just design architectures—I ensure they are operationally sound, secure, and supportable in the real world. Today, I specialize in: • Cisco ThousandEyes deployments, POVs, and test design • Internet, WAN, ISP, and SaaS performance analysis • Meraki-based visibility and assurance • Executive-ready reporting and remediation roadmaps I’ve built and operated real-world observability solutions, supported pre-sales demos and POVs, and advised senior IT leadership on modernization, resilience, and operational efficiency. I’m often brought in when: • Performance issues are intermittent or hard to prove • ISPs or SaaS providers are disputing responsibility • Internal teams need clarity before making architectural decisions Clients value that I operate as a trusted advisor, not a ticket-based engineer. I focus on clear outcomes, fast insight, and practical recommendations that teams can act on immediately. Typical engagements include: • ThousandEyes POV acceleration • Network visibility health assessments • Executive performance reporting • Fractional advisory support for MSPs and IT teams If you need clarity, evidence, and direction—not just tools—I’m happy to discuss how I can help.
