Salesforce MCAE (Pardot) Consultant | Audits Automation & Optimization

Hi, I’m Nikki, a certified Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot/MCAE) consultant who has been helping teams fix broken automation, lead flow, scoring, data alignment, and deliverability since 2010. I was one of the first 20 employees at Pardot, back before the acquisitions, rebrands, and ongoing debate over what we’re supposed to call it now. So when your instance is technically working, but leads are going to the wrong people, automations are scary to touch, Salesforce and Pardot aren’t lining up, or the email reports insist everything is “fine” when it very clearly is not, I’m very much in my happy place. For more than 15 years, I’ve helped hundreds of companies untangle the systems, processes, and “temporary” fixes that turned marketing automation into one giant headache(I can fix those!). I genuinely love figuring out what’s happening beneath the surface, fixing the actual problem, and explaining it without making everyone’s eyes glaze over. Because most Pardot environments don’t become messy overnight. They grow one campaign, employee, workaround, integration, and temporary fix at a time. That’s usually right around the time someone finds me. I’m typically brought in when: -Someone inherited Pardot and needs to understand what they actually have. -Lead scoring, grading, routing, or lifecycle stages no longer make sense. -Automations have multiplied, and nobody knows what is safe to change. -Salesforce and Pardot data aren’t lining up. -Marketing and Sales disagree about lead quality or what should happen next. -Campaigns take too long to launch or involve too many manual steps. -Deliverability looks great in the dashboard, but engagement tells another story. -The team needs senior Pardot expertise without hiring another full-time employee. Sometimes I find one obvious issue. More often, I find several smaller problems quietly working together to create one giant mess, and the best thing seems to be to just start from scratch (but it's not, I promise!). Either way, I’ll tell you what’s happening, why it’s happening, and what we need to do about it. What I help teams fix, rebuild, and optimize: -Salesforce Account Engagement/Pardot audits and optimization -Marketing automation strategy and implementation -Automation rules and Engagement Studio programs -Lead scoring, grading, routing, and lifecycle design -Salesforce CRM and MCAE integration troubleshooting -Data alignment, segmentation, and campaign architecture -Email deliverability and inbox placement -Domain authentication, configuration, and warming -Email preference center and consent strategy -Nurture, onboarding, win-back, and re-engagement programs -Platform migrations and organizational transitions -Documentation, training, and team enablement -Fractional or interim marketing automation leadership -White-label support for agencies and Salesforce partners *Why clients bring me in* I didn’t learn Pardot from a course or certification guide. As one of the platform’s earliest employees, I helped build its global support and enablement infrastructure, trained customers and Salesforce partners, and helped write the original Pardot Consultant certification exam. Since then, I’ve worked with more than 400 B2B organizations across nearly every vertical and have sent or overseen more than 7 billion emails. But knowing the technology is only part of the work. I’m technical enough to dig into the system, strategic enough to recognize when the platform isn’t really the problem, and human enough not to make your team feel bad about whatever I find. I can sit in a room with Marketing, Sales, Operations, Salesforce IT, and leadership and translate between all of them, without turning the conversation into a technical lecture. That’s because the problem is almost never just the platform. It’s usually the setup, process, adoption, data, or way the technology fits into the larger customer journey. I also know how to build the people around the platform. Early in my career, I learned that telling someone how to use a tool and actually teaching them to succeed with it are two completely different things. That mattered enough to me that I earned a Master of Science in Instructional Design and Technology. It shapes how I train teams, explain recommendations, document systems, and make sure the improvements we build continue working after I leave. I don’t want your team permanently dependent on a consultant to understand its own technology. My goal is always to make my clients look like heroes in the rooms I won’t be in... the CMO check-in, Sales alignment meeting, executive update, or board presentation. Looking forward to meeting you! If your Pardot/MCAE setup feels harder than it should, send me a message and tell me what’s going on. I’d be happy to take a look, ask a few questions, and help you figure out the best next step.
