I’ve spent the last five years building and running my own two e-commerce brands — not managing someone else’s ad account, but making every decision myself: product, pricing, positioning, sourcing, fulfilment and marketing. Malin & Mizen — a map wall art brand (golf maps, surf maps etc.) I founded and grew to 32,000+ customers with localised fulfilment across the US, UK, EU and Australia. Jarvi — a premium sauna bottle brand I built from scratch, from designing the physical product and sourcing manufacturers to launching across the EU, UK and US, including Amazon marketplaces. This brand uses 3PL fulfilment with centres in Ireland and the US. 9000+ Customers, launched 18 months ago, category leader for Sauna Water Bottles. Prior to starting these brands I spent 2 years providing Conversion Rate Optimisation & E-Commerce Strategy services to brands such as Tembo Money, Humanitas Research Hospital - Milan, Moonbird, Publitas, Compassion4Paws and Tidy Books. Along the way I’ve dealt with pretty much everything a growing store faces: conversion optimisation, pricing and bundle strategy, rising ad costs, fulfilment economics, wholesale channels, supply chain headaches and copycat competitors. Now I offer that experience as an advisor. I'm not here to build your site or run your ads — I'm here to look at your e-commerce business with a founder's eye and give you honest feedback, solutions, growth ideas & hands-on advice tailored to your problems. Think of it as having a second founder in the room for an hour, without the equity. If you want straight answers from someone who's made the mistakes already, get in touch. I unfortunately do not have enough time to do 'hands-on' work in your business such as managing your ads, running your AB tests or building your store ( and you can probably find a more cost-effective freelancer for time consuming workloads like that ). Eg. I can advise on these topic but cannot 'do' them for you. Why am I offering advisory services on top of running 2 e-commerce brands ? 1. I work solo most of the time on the above brands so it's nice to work with different people and see new perspectives. 2. A lot of the day to day workload of the above brands is automated or outsourced (eg. fulfilment, customer support, order processing). The remaining workload of managing e-commerce brands can become quite monotonous over time - taxes, accounting, profit analysis, managing freelancers, dealing with endless problems etc. Working with other brands is a nice 'change of scenery' from this. 3. Growing E-Commerce brands are inherently cash-hungry. So external free cash flow is always nice on the personal side .
