Still running. - A cross-platform education app. AI-powered quizzes, 50K+ students. Still running. "Still running" is the part I care about most. Anyone can launch something. Keeping it alive at scale is a different job entirely. I write Python, React, Node.js, and React Native most days. I also reach for Next.js, Flutter, Django, or NestJS when the situation calls for it. I'm not religious about tools. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐈'𝐦 𝐮𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐨: - Build a web app, or SaaS product from scratch, i.e., architecture decisions, database design, API layer, frontend, mobile apps, deployment. The full thing. - Fix something that's already live but struggling like slow queries, spaghetti code, an app that crashes when more than 500 people use it at once. - Add AI that actually does something not a ChatGPT wrapper with a logo on it, but recommendation systems, NLP pipelines, or chatbots integrated into an existing product in a way that changes a metric. - Ship a mobile app on both platforms without building it twice, React Native or Flutter, depending on what makes sense for your case. I work with founders, CTOs, and product managers. Mostly at companies where the person hiring me is also the person making architecture decisions. I like that dynamic. Fewer meetings, faster decisions and regular updates. Process-wise: weekly async updates, Git-based workflow, clean documentation. I flag problems early.
