My name is Ronald Acosta, I’m an artist/illustrator from the Bay Area California, currently based in New England. I’ve built a career collaborating with independent developers, filmmakers, publishers and writers to bring their visions to life. For the past seven years, I’ve served as the main artist on The Adventures of Starman, a sci-fi graphic novel series blending fiction with real world events and The Tales of Treydora, a fantasy comic series. Both projects are currently expanding into broader platforms across art, comics, and gaming. I’m adept in a wide range of styles, from gritty realism to dynamic comic, manga, and animation aesthetics. My technical expertise spans comic book sequential storytelling, concept art, cinematic storytelling, storyboarding, and character design. Whether working in traditional media or digitally via Procreate and Photoshop, I am committed to human craft; I do not use generative AI in any part of my artistic process.
