Liesl C.

I am passionate about turning stories, experiences, knowledge and transformation into books that change lives. For almost a decade, I have worked with individuals who know they have a book inside them but don't necessarily know how to get it into words. It has been my privilege to capture their fascinating lives and extraordinary experiences. Others have spent years developing knowledge, wisdom or insights that they know could change someone else's life—if only they could find the right words. It is here where I step in. I am a professional ghostwriter, writer's coach and nonfiction book specialist with more than 200 completed titles across memoir, self-development, inspirational nonfiction, personal transformation, relationships, parenting and faith-based writing. I don't simply "write books." I listen for the story beneath the story. I help clients find the message they are really trying to communicate, give structure to ideas that may feel scattered, and transform spoken experiences, notes, recordings or rough manuscripts into engaging, authentic and professionally written books. My approach is highly collaborative. Your book should still reflect your voice, personality, experiences and message. I bring professional storytelling, structure and writing expertise to turn raw ingredients into a compelling manuscript. 1. MEMOIR & LIFE STORY GHOSTWRITING Having a story and knowing how to tell it are two vastly different things, but I do that well. Have you survived something difficult, built a remarkable career, overcome circumstances that once seemed impossible, experienced a profound personal transformation, or simply reached a point in life where you want to preserve your story for your children, grandchildren or future generations? You may have hundreds of memories but no idea where to begin. Perhaps you’ve already written many pages, but it just doesn’t become a manuscript, or you've never written a word and need someone who knows how to ask the right questions. Together, we uncover the defining moments, turning points, relationships, lessons, challenges and victories that shaped your journey. Then, I develop a narrative structure and transform your experiences into a book that is emotionally engaging, readable and uniquely yours. I document what happened and frame it so that readers can understand why it mattered. 2. SELF-DEVELOPMENT & TRANSFORMATIONAL NONFICTION Perhaps your book idea is to share what you’ve learned. I work with coaches, consultants, entrepreneurs, professionals, speakers and thought leaders who have knowledge or a methodology they want to turn into a book. You may have years of experience helping people, have developed a framework, philosophy, or approach that works, or be a regular spokesperson on your subject, teach workshops, or mentor others. Turning that expertise into a coherent, engaging book is an entirely different skill. I help you bridge that gap. We identify your central message, define the transformation you want your reader to experience, organise your ideas into a logical structure and develop chapters that inspire. Then we plot the path for your readers. Whether it is personal growth, relationships, leadership, emotional resilience, purpose, parenting, spirituality or another area of human development, your knowledge can become a book that establishes your authority while genuinely serving your reader. 3. CHRISTIAN & INSPIRATIONAL NONFICTION Faith is personal, so writing about it requires sensitivity. With a BA in Language and Psychology, a postgraduate diploma in Theology and extensive experience writing transformational and faith-based content, I understand the importance of combining sound writing with a respectful understanding of Christian principles. I work with authors who want to write Christian memoirs, devotionals, inspirational books, spiritual-growth books, testimonies and faith-based personal development. My approach is to invite the reader into a story, a struggle, a lesson or a moment of transformation and allow the message to emerge naturally, rather than putting a sermon into words. Whether your book is about finding God in the middle of adversity, recovering from church hurt, discovering purpose, rebuilding your life, navigating relationships, or sharing a testimony of God's faithfulness, I can help you communicate your message with authenticity, warmth and clarity. WHY CLIENTS CHOOSE ME You're trusting someone with your memories, your ideas, your experiences and sometimes the most vulnerable chapters of your life, and I take that responsibility seriously. My background allows me to work at the intersection of story and meaning, looking at the person behind the words and the reader who will eventually receive them. If that sounds like you, let's talk about your book. Your story already exists, now let’s bring your words to life.
