John C.

I own SaaS products end to end: the architecture, cloud backend, database, auth and roles, integrations, deployment and the production support that keeps it all running. I have 20+ years in software, and for more than a decade I've managed enterprise applications that real organizations depend on every day. Right now I manage two of them. Roberto is a performance and wellness assessment platform used by employers, healthcare providers, and IRB-approved research at more than 30 universities. Presence Study runs a national clinical trial, where participant data can never be lost or duplicated. I'm also a contract engineer for Wabtec Corporation, moving internal engineering applications onto their enterprise systems. How I can help: • Fractional CTO and technical leadership: architecture reviews, roadmaps, and code and PR review for founders without a senior engineer in-house • AI prototype to production: taking apps built with AI tools and adding the guardrails they need, like tenant isolation, security, tests, and a safe release path • Multi-tenant SaaS builds: ASP.NET, Node and React/TypeScript, SQL and Postgres, Azure and AWS • Integrations: CRMs, payments, messaging, OAuth, and AI agents and LLM APIs with recoverable state I also bring something most backend engineers can't: years of Unity, WebGL and 3D, so if your product needs an interactive front end, a configurator or a cross-platform app, the same person can build it. I start by measuring, give opinions second, and I'll tell you when something should be left alone. A short paid assessment is usually the best first step.
