Eric W.
Project Manager, Recruiting, Event Planning
I’m a PMP-certified program manager with experience producing online and in-person events, leading international development and STEM programs, recruiting and writing. Skills: Event Production: I organize lively, well attended events in CX/UX, Human Resources, big data, information security and other disciplines. I recruit expert speakers, research topics, write agendas and emcee event sessions. I assemble high quality events by recruiting and supporting 10+ senior speakers every month from US businesses with greater than $100 million in annual revenue, including Aramark, Citi, Nordstrom, Opry Entertainment Group, Pearson, WebMD and many others. Program Management: I’ve led a variety of complex, multi-stakeholder projects, including the US government-funded Farmer-to-Farmer program. At ACDI/VOCA, I led a multidisciplinary and multicultural team of recruiters, administrators and technical experts. We planned, executed and monitored nearly 500 technical consulting assignments in eight countries. We identified local partners, negotiated the scope of our work together, recruited consultants and supported our partners and consultants as they carried out their work together. ACDI/VOCA’s Farmer-to-Farmer program has had a high impact in the communities it serves. From 2014-2018, ACDI/VOCA’s Farmer-to-Farmer program helped nearly four million small scale farmers and agribusinesses in West Africa, the Caucasus and Central Asia increase their sales by over $40 million. Recruiting: I am a skilled recruiter who has filled more than 245 technical consulting assignments in agriculture and financial sector regulation. Writing: I’ve written extensively for the public on a wide variety of topics, including parenting and international development. Computer Skills: I know how to use Asana, Salesforce and WordPress, as well as Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
