Olena C.

Like many of us, I look at my childhood through rose-colored glasses. For this reason, my imagination creates cute and funny characters. I love to bring a bit of humor and naivety to the illustrations. I believe that this is the most delicate and correct way to teach and deliver emotions to our readers. :) I draw using digital devices (Mac and iPad) in: • Illustrator • Photoshop • Procreate I work with real stuff, too: • Ink • Watercolor • Colour pencils • Acrylic I take care of all stages: • Concept • Sketches • Spreads • Color spots • Final design • Corrections and retouch • Typography and book layout (InDesign) • Ready to print files for upload to Amazon KDP and to Ingram-spark • Epub versions Most of all I love to draw children's illustrations for: • Children's books • Picturebook • Children's encyclopedias • Coloring books • Postcards • Stickers • Illustrations for web pages • Packaging • Funny logos and branding About my experience: I was a designer for more than 20 years (layouts, design, layout of printed products, formatting). Although I have been drawing since childhood, I decided to start illustrating books only 8 years ago. I fell in love with this, and this is my main activity at the moment.
