Ying started as a freelance remote translator on OneHour Translation online platform in 2018, where she worked on pipeline projects of Facebook, which entailed translation from English to Burmese language, and vice versa. She volunteered as a Survey Assistant/Interpreter on a survey project, traveling to Twantay, one of the rural areas of Myanmar, with Japanese students from Takasaki City University of Economics, and local students from Yangon University of Economics, interpreting (Burmese - English) conversations between locals, villagers, and Japanese students, inquiring, conducting, and acquiring survey data from villages. Since 2019, Ying has been providing translation service here on Upwork. And so far, she has engaged in - * 16 survey translation projects, * 1 photography translation and documentation project, and * 7 voice-over and audio recording projects in Burmese.
