I've always enjoyed creating things and finding efficient solutions to problems. That coupled with my interest in mathematics led me to study engineering. While mechanical design and 3D modeling remain fascinating to me, I have found myself focusing more and more on computers and programming as time has gone by. In an academic setting I have had the opportunity to program industrial robotic equipment, write scripts to process and visualize experimental data, and simulate various fluid and thermodynamic systems. In a professional context I have implemented a web-based advertising tool for a heavy truck dealership and written various automation scripts for office products and CAD software. I currently work as a full stack software developer specializing in creating web applications powered by .NET Core and React.
