I’m comfortable stepping in, figuring out what is going on, cleaning up the records, and building a better process going forward. My background includes bookkeeping cleanup, QuickBooks Online, monthly close, bank and credit card reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll support, sales tax compliance, tax preparation, financial reporting, multi-entity accounting, Shopify and Amazon accounting, restaurant bookkeeping, and Excel-based analysis. I also provide light CFO support for growing businesses, including budgeting, cash flow planning, financial projections, investor proposal support, and helping owners understand what their numbers are really saying. I enjoy turning the bookkeeping into something more useful than a completed checklist — reports, budgets, and insights that help the business make better decisions. I’m especially strong at finding the issue behind the issue. I look for missing expenses, duplicate entries, old balance sheet problems, incorrect sales deposits, payroll liability issues, uncategorized activity, and processes that are making the books harder to maintain than they need to be. Clients usually come to me when they need someone who can take ownership without needing every step explained. I’m organized, practical, and detail-oriented, but I also understand that business owners need clear answers, not accounting jargon.
