Manar B.

Senior .NET engineer and engineering lead with 14 years of experience building fintech, payments, and enterprise backend systems with C#, ASP.NET Core, and Microsoft Azure. Most recently I led payments engineering at Geidea, a fintech platform processing over 2 million transactions a day across 3 markets. I owned the architecture for payment authorisation, settlement, and reconciliation microservices, and scaled the engineering organisation from 6 to 26 engineers across 6 squads. What I can do for you: • Build and maintain payment and transaction systems that stay reliable under high volume • Design scalable REST APIs and microservices with ASP.NET Core • Modernise and refactor legacy .NET applications without risky rewrites • Optimise SQL Server and PostgreSQL performance (reducing query time by up to 40%) • Set up Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines with Docker and Kubernetes • Debug complex production issues and improve monitoring and observability • Lead, mentor, and review code for development teams Industries: fintech and payments, e-commerce, EdTech, enterprise SaaS, and government platforms including e-government and arbitration systems. I have worked remotely with distributed teams in Europe and the Gulf, and I communicate clearly in English. Most of my work is on confidential enterprise systems, so source code can't be shared publicly, but I'm happy to walk you through architecture and approach on a call. Let's talk about your project.
