Daniel A.

Greetings to you, my future client. You are looking for a writer, editor and proofreader, or perhaps a skilled digital artist? If you seek a highly skilled, detail-oriented artist, capable of weaving intricate narratives for your stories, or to bring your existing worlds to life, I am the ideal fit for you! I offer you a well-developed, professional skill set: As a writer and editor: * High creativity when developing characters, worlds, and narrative stories * A background in Psychology to infuse characters with emotional complexity * Engaging, exciting, well-paced writing style * Constant communication and timely, deadline oriented workflow As an artist: * High creativity when designing characters, illustrations, items and visual elements * A painterly, Dark Fantasy aesthetic * Professional mastery of composition, anatomy, and colour theory * Quick but detailed workflow to provide the best quality in the shortest time * Iterative, process-based drawing Professionally, I’ve had the opportunity of working on long-form, long-term narrative projects spanning multiple instalments, each of them demanding a high level of consistency, linguistic accuracy, and an engaging, exciting pacing to keep readers thrilled. This, I accomplished by creating well-detailed outlines and following them to my clients’ satisfaction, until the final manuscripts were deemed complete. I’ve also had the opportunity to edit already existing stories through deep-level reading, and in-line commenting which, once approved, led to editing and rewriting large portions of the existing manuscript. Artistically, I’ve had the opportunity of managing character and asset creation, as well as creating intricate world-maps for fantasy stories, where my client requested a certain design to be delivered on a timely manner. This was accomplished through iterative design and constant communication, until the final design was completed. The abilities I offer are complemented by experience as a Psychologist, which has trained me to solve difficult problems and critically analyse the requirements of a job to come up with creative, client-oriented solutions. This translates to an efficient, fast-paced but accurate and detailed workflow aimed at fulfilling your requirements through the ability to research topics for literary purposes, or visual references to fulfil your illustration needs. Throughout this process, I aim to keep constant, concise communication until the final product is properly delivered and revised—this is done through advanced, academic level English, both British and American, as well as native Spanish-Mexico. Literature and art are passions of mine—passions I wish to offer to you, so we may collaborate together in creating exciting, engaging, appealing works of written, or visual art. Thank you very much for your attention, I look forward to working with you! Best regards, -Daniel Andrade.
