Screenwriter, Editor, Communications Strategist

I am an award-winning screenwriter, script consultant and script doctor. I work with producers and writers to edit, sharpen and rewrite pilot scripts and screenplays. My experience ranges from co-creating and serving as Head Writer for series at Nickelodeon and MTV to serving as Creative Consultant on a Sundance competition documentary to teaching beginning and advanced screenwriting at the university level. I have also written and produced award-winning spots for Nickelodeon, Nick at Nite and other cable networks (2 Clio Awards, 11 nominations.) I specialize in Story Structure and working with writers to bring their stories to life in ways that connect deeply with audiences. While most of my work as a writer and script doctor is for production companies and creatives in Los Angeles and New York, I am based in Minneapolis. I came here to direct a feature film I wrote and have stayed to participate in a vibrant creative community -- and raise a family. I consider myself tri-coastal.
