End User Focused SCADA HMI and OIT Programmer

Testimonial on 8/18/22 from current client since April, 2020: “We thank you for all your work…research with Ignition dealing with an offsite setup, testing and your availability to help very early yesterday(6am Pacific)…the process went extremely smooth which is a reflection of your enthusiasm and dedication to deliver great software and support. You are great to work with, and your “we can do it” attitude makes you a great asset to Coldchain Technology Services. Thank you and keep up the great work!” Juan, Director of Information Technology, Coldchain Technologies Inc. I specialize in SCADA HMI and OIT design and implementation, along with having experience in most layers of HMI Integration. These HMI platforms include: - Inductive Automation's Ignition: Gold Certification of 7.8, 7.9 (8.1 soon), and have worked with Ignition since version 7.5 - Development and implementation experience with FactoryTalk (ME and SE), RSView32, and Wonderware InTouch. - I've had projects interacting with Wonderware Archestra, iFix, and others. - Additional non-SCADA skill sets that I've detailed further down my description My Philosophy: HMI and OIT design is what makes your operators and managers either confident in the processes they're responsible for, or tear their hair out each time they have to interact with their SCADA system. I've committed myself to an end user focused approach to interface design, making sure to ask those questions that often get missed in the development cycle which are the difference between. In my experience, engineering hours were too expensive to spend on getting the best understanding possible of the operator's needs and wish list, and I hope to provide a better balance of project definition with greater input in order to deliver the best output possible. Preferred Project Scopes: I'm most interested in smaller scoped projects, primarily those with an existing SCADA HMI package, who are looking for updates, corrections, and even adding system features like alarm notification, redundancy, reporting and the like from a seasoned professional. I'm happy to work anywhere I'm needed, with a flexible schedule if travel is required. While smaller projects might be my preference, I'm happy to discuss larger project scopes like a new or replacement SCADA HMI platform, and either guide you to solutions that I'm able to provide effectively, or assist in narrowing down the mountain of possibilities that are available to you. Additional Information, Business Details, and Skill Sets Experience and Work History - 8 years with a full service Integration Company, growing from three to more than ten in that time - Panel Building and CAD based Panel Design - Light PLC Coding, mostly investigations for proper HMI funcationality - Google IT Support Professional and Cisco Networking Basics Certification, with 20 years of IT support from clients to servers - Database configuration and management with some SQL programming - Python/Jython programming in relation to Ignition Business Details - Incorporated, dba dialedInterfaces - General Liability and Professional Liability Insurance Thank you for taking some time to review my profile, and I look forward to discussing your project with you, Matthew
