I am a seasoned Electrical Engineer with over a decade of expertise in firmware and hardware, and highly specific power electronics development. My state-of-the-art electronics lab is equipped with high end oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzer for EMC pre-compliance testing, signal generators, precision instrumentation, reflow ovens, rework tools and specific tools used for motor drive test and characterization. I specialize in embedded systems, C programming, and power electronics, having successfully delivered and deployed dozens of products. As a world-class KiCad user, my work has been featured on the official KiCad website. I excel in transforming ideas into hardware prototypes and have managed firmware development and production with assembly partners in China. My experience spans developing state-of-the-art field-oriented control drive units, military development programs, wireless ECG devices, and ultra-low-power energy harvesting sensors. As the lead hardware developer of the Axiom Motor Controller and founder of PALTA TECH S.A., EV Power Designs Inc, and Innobattery S.A., I bring innovative solutions to complex challenges. Awards and recognitions include the Top 10 MIT TR35 Innovators Award from Argentina and Uruguay, being the largest contributor to the VESC platform after Benjamin Vedder, a Hackaday Prize 2019 Finalist, and the Best Production Award with the Axiom Motor Controller. I also secured 1st prize in the 2020 PCBway PCB design contest. A Linux powerhouse is my daily driver, and I use KiCad for electronics design, FreeCAD for mechanical integration and FEA, Google Docs for collaborative documentation and Git for version control, ensuring cost-effective solutions without expensive licenses. Our lab favorites include Saleae, Rohde&Schwarz, PEM and Fluke tools.
