I began freelancing in early 1999 after a successful tenure as the creative director for the magazine group at Potomac, MD-based Phillips International, a leading publisher with $350 million in annual sales. While heading the design department, I oversaw the creative direction of nine magazines, seven of which I redesigned. The job also required close coordination and communication with the company’s web development team. My mission is simple.
