I am a Fashion Designer specialising in footwear. Previously Head of Design at premium men’s brand Oliver Sweeney, overseeing the design process for all footwear, apparel and accessories. I am now working on a freelance basis on design, development, and production for various brands and I specialise in working through the entire design process; creative direction / mood boards / sketching / CADs / colour-ups / rendering / specs / tech packs / sourcing / development / production. I currently work with a wide-range of brands covering sports, casual, formal and specialist types of footwear. I have a proven track record of taking concepts to mass production for established brands as well as start ups. My high degree of technical knowledge means that I can help to make designs fit the design brief but also ensure that they are realistic for production, and fit to a specified cost. I have extensive supplier knowledge in relation to manufacture and materials, meaning that I can offer real world advice on how to source and manufacture great product. I also have extensive knowledge of sustainability considerations within design and development and can help brands realise their goals in this regard.
