Muhammad S.
Full-Stack & Automation Engineer | Next.js, Node, Python, AI, ADF
I build and fix web apps, backends and data systems, and I take manual work off people's plates. Mostly Next.js, React, Node and Python on Postgres, with AWS and Azure Data Factory underneath. Some recent work: • A car-pricing platform that pulls listings from six providers, finds underpriced cars and emails the buyer automatically. • An inventory app that replaced a client's spreadsheets: they scan a barcode, and stock and prices update in their online shop. • AI matching for a community platform (OpenAI + Pinecone), and a 95% cut in the monthly AI bill without losing quality. • Backend and payments for a Swedish services marketplace (Node microservices, Stripe, Swish). • 50+ Azure Data Factory pipelines feeding a company-wide data warehouse, plus the SQL behind them. What I can help with: • Web apps and SaaS — Next.js, React, Node.js, NestJS, TypeScript • Taking over an existing app — finding what's broken, fixing it, making it safe to change • Backends and APIs — Python/FastAPI, Node, PostgreSQL, Supabase, payments • Automation — replacing spreadsheets and manual steps, connecting the tools you already use • AI features — RAG, vector search, LLM integrations, keeping AI costs under control • Data — Azure Data Factory, SQL Server, Snowflake, ETL and data warehouses • Cloud — AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD How I work: • A short call first, so we agree what "done" looks like before any code is written. • Milestones you can review, you always know what you're paying for before you pay for it. • Small, careful changes. When I work on a live system, I test the whole flow and make sure nothing touches real customer data by accident. • Everything written down, what I changed, why, and what I didn't touch, so nothing lives only in my head. A few things I've fixed that others missed: • A marketplace where suspended accounts could still log in and use the app, found by testing the full flow end to end. • Sales numbers that were 1–3% off every month, traced to how gift-card refunds were recorded, and fixed. • A monitoring bill of about $1,000/month brought down to $0.10 with nothing important left unwatched.
