Welcome to my profile; may I introduce myself? I am an excellent editor, copy editor, and proofreader with an outstanding work ethic. I am very proud of my current 100% JSS with Upwork. British (UK) English is my native language, but I am also proficient in American (US) and Australian (AU) English. When working with your manuscript, article, blog or social media piece, I will avoid ever interfering with the integrity and tone of your work. I process all changes and corrections while maintaining your voice throughout. Using MS Word with tracked changes allows you to have the final say. You will completely control accepting or rejecting any of my changes or recommendations. I will add comments where necessary; these often become discussion points if you require further revisions. Selecting a stranger to touch your work is daunting; therefore, I recommend offering a sample of your work to be processed. This step allows the writer to evaluate the editor. This step is not necessary for short pieces but is a vital step for a long manuscript or ongoing assignment. We will treat this as an interview assessment; you will not be disappointed. To protect my client's confidentiality, I will never offer previous work samples. Upon completing your assignment, I will return two copies of your work. One will show all markup. The other will be a clean copy showing only my comments and recommendations. My resume includes Academic Works, Non-Fiction, Fiction & Young Adult, Children's, and Memoir/Journal. I specialize in non-fiction in the business genre, memoirs, and journals. I have attached book covers highlighting the vast array of subjects I have covered.
