Alex G-kin C.

Music producer, sound designer, and audio engineer with 15+ years creating music and sound for games, apps, brand campaigns, films, digital content, and TV shows. Top 1% of music and audio specialists on Upwork. I handle the full process: original music, sound design, editing, mixing, and mastering, plus English and Chinese voice-over for both human and AI voice projects. Even with AI tools, everything is shaped by ear, not by AI. That's how I keep the small details and imperfections that give sound its edge, whether it's a podcast mix, a film soundtrack, or a sonic logo. I began as a teen musician and self-taught producer in Hong Kong's hardcore music scene, fronting King Ly Chee, a band VICE later called one of the most influential in the region. Later I produced for my other bands, DIV and FaceFace, which led to the studio work I do today. Over those years, I played hundreds of shows, toured across Europe and Asia, opened for Korn, Architects, Emmure, and more, and learned how sound moves a crowd. None of those band years were a career plan, but they taught me what I still do every day: listen for what a moment needs, then build the sound for it. Good fits: - Original music, jingles, and music supervision - Sound design (soundscapes and SFX) - Sonic branding (sonic logos and product sounds) - Audio clean-up, editing, mixing, and mastering - Podcast production (audio and video editing, branded templates) - Voice-over and AI voice work (recording, review, and polishing)
