Content Writer for Fiction and Non-Fiction Projects

When I need to be, I can be a terminology polyglot. Even if I have never heard of things like 'debt management' or 'short-term loans', I can bring myself up to speed and be as fluent as the next man within a few hours. I bring quirks to the work that gives them that zany atmosphere, helps them to stand out, even if the piece is purely informative. I have had experience of writing for a variety of industries, including film studies (I lived and breathed cinema through my journalism degree), mental health (I ran a successful research project supporting people with hidden conditions into work), the UK recruitment sector and the diamond market (always handy for when I want to pop the question). Writing is like oxygen to me. If I don't have my fingers poised over the keys, I risk suffocating. I chose to become a freelancer because as a writer, I wanted to expand my skillset. There are so many facets of life that I want to be able to sample and bring into my portfolio and I feel that PeoplePerHour will allow me the means to do so.
