Community Manager & Strategist | Retention & Client Success

I help founders and small business owners build client and member experiences that actually make people stay. That matters more than ever right now, when so much of what's being built is AI powered, and people need to feel a real human behind it before they trust it, something a small business can build in a way a bigger brand can't. Client success is where most of my energy goes: the onboarding someone gets on day one, checking in personally the moment someone goes quiet, and turning what people are actually saying into the next real decision for the business. Community management is the layer underneath all of that; it's the space where those relationships actually happen. Some real examples of how this plays out: - I build full onboarding workflows from scratch, not just a welcome message. For one client, I built a choose-your-own-adventure style onboarding with quests to help new members connect with the brand, then simplified it into a more straightforward storytelling version once I understood what actually fit that client's audience better. - For a current client's platform, I personally welcome every new person, check if their profile or setup is still in progress, ask if they're stuck on anything, and review all incoming feedback every week. - If I notice someone go quiet, I reach out directly and ask questions. One quiet member once left a single comment that reshaped how I saw a client's entire business model, and we brainstormed to make the business more profitable - Turning what your audience is already saying (questions, feedback, DMs, comments) into content ideas, offers, and simple community rituals. For a current client, feedback that the platform felt unfamiliar and unclear led directly to a plan for building more visible authority on Instagram, so people could see the actual faces behind the brand, plus a short onboarding video walking new users through the platform so no one got stuck figuring it out alone. I like working closely with a small number of clients rather than managing a big portfolio of accounts. That means you get someone who actually knows your people, not someone spread across forty accounts. If your onboarding is losing people before they get comfortable, or you're not sure what your client or community feedback is actually telling you to do next, that's usually where I fit best.
