Saad A.
PCB & Embedded Systems Engineer | IoT Product Development
A connected product can work perfectly on the bench and still fail in the field. Battery life falls short. BLE or Wi-Fi becomes unstable. Sensor readings drift. Firmware behaves differently on custom hardware. A PCB that appeared finished needs another revision before manufacturing. I help hardware companies prevent those problems by developing the PCB, embedded firmware, power architecture and wireless connectivity as one coordinated system. My work covers new product development as well as existing prototypes that require debugging, miniaturization, reliability improvements, or preparation for manufacturing. Core capabilities: • Electronic architecture, schematic design, and component selection • Multilayer PCB design and layout using Altium Designer and KiCad • Embedded firmware in C/C++ for ESP32, STM32, and Nordic nRF52 • BLE, Wi-Fi, LoRa, cellular IoT, GNSS, NFC, CAN, USB and RS485 • Battery charging, power management, and low-power optimization • FreeRTOS, Zephyr, ESP-IDF, and STM32 HAL • Hardware bring-up, debugging, testing and design validation • BOM, Gerber, pick-and-place and manufacturing documentation • Existing schematic and PCB review before fabrication My strongest experience includes compact battery-powered devices, BLE wearables, industrial IoT controllers, wireless tracking products, embedded audio hardware, automotive electronics and sensor-based monitoring systems. I consider the details that commonly force expensive redesigns later: antenna clearance, signal integrity, power consumption, thermal behavior, component availability, test access, connector placement and PCB manufacturability. The objective is not merely to produce a schematic or route a board. It is to create electronics and firmware that can be assembled, tested, debugged and moved toward production with fewer surprises. If you are developing a new connected product or improving an existing prototype, send me its current stage and the main technical constraint. I can help determine whether the correct starting point is feasibility, design review, debugging or detailed development.
