I have a BFA in Creative Writing and an MFA in TV and Screenwriting. I've written numerous film, TV, and spec scripts, most of them geared toward children's animation and family-friendly genre, though I've also touched on crime drama and sci-fi. Two of my film scripts have advanced in screenplay competitions. I also have an essay published in "When Women Wrote Hollywood: Essays on Female Screenwriters in the Early Film Industry," and an online article published on the Syd Field website regarding one of his screenplay books "The Foundations of Screenwriting". In other avenues, I have my teaching certificate in secondary English with four years teaching experience in elementary education and middle school language arts. I've also had the fortune of visiting and living in numerous countries due to the military.
