Jordan P.
Soldering Assembler
My name is Jordan, Im 34, and right now I work as an IT support and Service Repair Technician for a small motion control shop in TX. I'm detailed oriented and a slight perfectionist while still being efficient and timely. I have over 7 years of experience with PCBs and I can do through hole soldering, and surface mount soldering with a hot air solder station. I've built boards here that have around 300 parts and several boards at the same time, including a mix of through hole and surface mounting. I have 4 years of experience making custom cables, including stripping, crimping, ferrules, friction pins, molex pins and other types of fasteners. I have experience repairing PCBs, including de-soldering, diagnosing, and doing custom wire traces for prototypes. Im trying to make some extra money by building your boards, testing them, or making cables. In addition to physical support i also provide detailed IT support to our company and to customers who have purchased our controls. I guide them through things such as BIOS setup and Windows troubleshooting to non technical customers. Around the office I write support documentation to make setup and testing of certain software and hardware repeatable and successful.
