My name is Elaine Everett, and I am a native English speaker based in Prague. I devote a good bit of my time teaching English face-to-face/online and being a quality assurance consultant for Duolingo. When I am not teaching, I spend some time writing and proofreading materials for clients. For example, I have proofread a 70,000-word manuscript, dissertations, personal statements, business emails, and various articles. I have also written many articles on topics ranging from psychology and fitness. Recently, I wrote a few articles on holistic medicine, including acupuncture. I also have a TESOL certification, so I can teach English as a second language. I have over seven years of teaching experience, and I have taught at the university level. I am very versatile and flexible when it comes to tasks I am given. I am a perfectionist, and I don't settle for less.
