Applied AI Engineer & Senior Data Scientist

I am an applied AI engineer and senior data scientist with experience building production-ready AI systems that solve real business problems, not just demos or experiments. My background spans data science, machine learning, and AI product engineering, with a focus on systems that are reliable, maintainable, and aligned with real business needs. I have worked end to end across the AI stack, from data ingestion and modeling to APIs, automation, and customer-facing tools. I am the founder of Context Systems, where I build applied AI and agent-based systems, and the CTO and co-founder of Textbook, an AI agent–based conversational booking platform. This experience means I understand how to balance technical rigor with timelines, budgets, and real product constraints. My work often involves applying large language models in practical settings, especially when they need to be combined with structured data, external tools, and deterministic logic. This includes retrieval-augmented generation, decision support systems, and AI workflows that require more than simple prompting. Recent work includes building conversational AI agents for real businesses, designing RAG systems that combine documents, databases, and APIs, creating AI-driven decision support tools with clear reasoning, and automating internal workflows and operational systems. I frequently work in Python and build backend systems that support real users and real data. I am not a prompt-only AI freelancer. I specialize in robust, explainable systems designed to run in production and scale responsibly. Clients work with me when they need someone who can own a problem end to end, communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and deliver clean, working solutions without unnecessary complexity.
