Scott S.

I write expert cybersecurity content for startups selling to CISOs, privacy leaders, and risk committees, articles people genuinely want to read, that can rank on Google, and that generate organic, targeted leads for your business. I’m Scott Schlimmer, CISSP. This is a fractional writing seat, not a generic content mill. I run keyword strategy, draft the piece, build the CTA, and take a weekly working session with you. Who this is for Startups that want to increase their online presence, generate more marketing leads, or own their category, especially cyber, privacy, GRC, identity, OT/ICS, vCISO, and CISO-tooling teams. How the seat works • Weekly blog article (minimum 1,000 words) • SEO, CTA, and links to your product pages • 30–45 min weekly working session • Two revision rounds per piece Most teams start with Presence (stay visible and start ranking) and move to Lead Generation when they’re ready to turn traffic into conversations. Category Leader adds a monthly expert piece ghost-written in the founder’s name, a repurposing pack (LinkedIn + newsletter), and a monthly earned-media sprint: draft + pitch CSO Online, Infosecurity Magazine, and others. Note: placement in trade pubs is never guaranteed because editors ultimately decide. Why I can write this beat • Published in Infosecurity Magazine, CSO Online, and Spirit Airlines Skylights magazine • Co-founder, CyberSaint, which raised $25M • Advisor, SOC Prime, $60M exit on my position • Wrote papers for Presidents Bush and Obama • Author, The Real Jack Ryan - Amazon bestseller, US & Canada Bylines: CSO Online and Infosecurity Magazine (profiles linked from my portfolio). How to start Send the job post or a 4–6 sentence brief: who you sell to, what the product does, and whether you need Presence, Lead Generation, or Category Leader. The best SEO starts with writing something that people want to read.
