Samuel A.

Top Rated book editor, proofreader, and Amazon KDP formatter with 80+ completed projects, 1,700+ hours, and 100% Job Success on Upwork. I help authors, researchers, and publishers turn rough manuscripts into clean, publication-ready books for Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, and Kindle. Most clients come to me for one of three things: a manuscript that needs careful editing, a book that needs to be formatted and uploaded without errors, or audio that needs accurate transcription. Often it's more than one, and I can take your book from first draft to upload-ready files so you don't have to juggle several freelancers. 📘 Book Editing and Proofreading I edit for clarity, flow, and consistency while keeping your voice intact. Every change comes in tracked changes, and anything that's your decision gets a comment instead of a quiet edit. • Proofreading, copy editing, and line editing for fiction and non-fiction • Memoir, business, self-help, religious, and health books • Humanizing AI-assisted drafts so they read naturally and sound like you • Academic and medical editing for theses, dissertations, and journal articles. As a final-year MBBS student at the University of Ibadan, I edit scientific content with a real understanding of it. • ESL editing for non-native English writers • APA, MLA, Chicago, and AMA style, in US or UK English 📕 Amazon KDP and IngramSpark Book Formatting I turn finished manuscripts into print-ready and ebook-ready files that meet platform requirements. • Paperback and hardcover interiors in standard and custom trim sizes, including 6×9, 5×8, and 7×10 • Kindle ebook formatting and reflowable EPUB files • Children's books, workbooks, and image-heavy layouts • Word and Google Docs formatting, plus standard manuscript format for agent submissions • Clickable tables of contents, running headers, chapter openers, and clean page flow • Fixing KDP and IngramSpark upload errors, including margins, bleed, trim size, and file rejections 🎙️ Transcription Accurate transcription for interviews, podcasts, lectures, research audio, and medical dictation. • Verbatim and clean verbatim, with timestamps and speaker labels • Medical, academic, and handwritten document transcription • Delivered in Word, Google Docs, PDF, or your preferred format Recent work • The Synthetic Empire, a non-fiction political analysis • A product strategy book published through ProductLed • Tuck's Green Heart, an illustrated children's book formatted for KDP • A two-book KDP and IngramSpark production, including fixing IngramSpark file rejections • A beginner's guide to AI, polished and finished for publication • 120 hours of proofreading for an academic institution Why clients come back • 5-star reviews on everything from quick fixes to full-length book projects • A medical and academic background for technical content • Editing and formatting handled in one place • Clear communication, honest timelines, and work delivered when promised What clients say "He is highly professional, responsive, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
