Renan P.
Software Architect | Game Dev
I'm an experienced full-stack C# / Unity developer with 15+ years of experience. I excel at reliable clean code that makes maintainability and expandability a breeze. I was Head of Engineering at Mega Cat Studios for over 4 years, including during the full development cycle of Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit (available on multiple platforms). I've led the development team as well as other teams, designed (architecture-wise) and coded most of the backbone the game was built on, and designed and coded the animatronics AI. Backyard Baseball (2026, Very Positive on Steam) is another one: Head of Engineering on the title, from the engineering production plan written before development started. Plenty of the systems are mine directly, the ball physics among them, a library of my own rather than the engine's, with the fielding AI reasoning about where it predicts the ball is going. I've also worked as co-designer and solo developer on the multiplayer online artillery game Battle Mech Frontier (listed on Steam), including client-server connection, the server itself, the database, the whole actual game, etc.
